Districtwide Camera Standards

Every school shall include:

  • High-resolution, AI-capable security cameras
  • Coverage for: 
    • Entrances
    • Lobby
    • Hallways
    • Gyms, MPRs, libraries
    • Playgrounds and fields (including “last mile” areas far from buildings)
  • Redundant recording and cloud-based integration

Advanced Analytics

Camera systems shall support:

  • Human detection
  • Virtual tripwires
  • Tailgating detection at controlled entries
  • Rapid search (e.g., clothing color, object carried)
  • Integration with emergency management systems

Integration with Command Center

All camera and access datasets must feed into a centralized command center, enabling:

  • Real-time campus monitoring
  • Remote lockdown/unlock
  • Communication with first responders
