Purpose:
To support general music instruction and/or 5th-grade band, including instrument handling, movement, rhythm activities, and ensemble practice. It can also be used for other VAPA programs, such as dance or drama.

- Introduction to instruments
- Small-ensemble practice
Considerations:
- Lockable storage for rhythm instruments, small percussion, handheld items
- If used for 5th-grade band: secure storage for larger and more expensive instruments
- Durable flooring
- Basic sound system
- Adequate space for up to ~33 students (movement and instrument spacing)
