Purpose

Provide counseling, mental health services, guidance, behavioral support, and intervention for students.

Activities

• Individual counseling sessions
• Small group interventions
• Parent-student counseling conferences
• Testing (psychologist, SLP)
• MTSS, PBIS coordination
• Mental health intake and follow-up

Considerations

• Private offices with acoustic isolation
• Comfortable seating 
• Lockable Storage for confidential files
• Access to shared Student Support Center (where applicable)
• Some sites require multiple small offices for interns, SLP, MFT, military counselor, etc.
• Strategically located to reduce stigma and ensure accessibility
