- Clay reclaiming
Considerations:
- Kilns: electric and/or gas
- Outdoor covered kiln pad with metal shade structure
- Pug mill
- Slab roller
- Spray booth
- Clay and glazing chemical storage
- Large, durable tables (industrial-grade preferred), open underneath for easy cleaning or storing backpacks during class time
- Grid of electric cord drops, one per table
- Electric outlets for each wheel station
- Trough sink with clay trap
- Ware room for greenware, bisqueware, glaze ware
- Clear path to roll tall carts objects to and from the kiln
- Large open shelves for storing art projects during the firing and glazing process
- Ventilation for kilns (if indoors) and chemicals
